On August 10, 2020, JPD received a report of a stolen Honda generator from Aurora Harbor, near the Juneau Yacht Club. The Honda generator is red in color and valued at approximately $2,000. This theft is one of several reported in the areas of the Juneau Docks and Harbors over the past several months. Patrons of the harbors are reminded to store items such as fishing gear, crab pots, jerry jugs, and generators in locked compartments when possible. Other items which can’t be stowed can be locked to their vessel or removed from the boat when not in use.
