Case or Incident: #N/A

To ensure our community remains safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, National Night Out 2020 is being postponed until later this year.

Typically held the first Tuesday of August, National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring first responders and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Typically, these events include block parties, cookouts, and other fun events.

The tentative date for NNO is October 6th, 2020.  JPD will continue to evaluate the conditions in Juneau to see if holding a NNO event is advisable. As October comes closer, JPD will provide updates on the status of NNO event this year. We appreciate everyone's understanding during these times.
