On May 20th, 2020 at about 3:35pm, dispatch received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Glacier Spur road near Counterpane Lane. JPD officers, an Alaska State Trooper and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the scene.
The initial investigation reveals that a silver 2014 Subaru Forester struck a red 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The 64 year old motorcycle operator and his 61 year old female passenger were injured and transported by ambulance to Bartlett Regional Hospital. The 51 year old female driver of the Subaru was not injured.
At the time of this release, the roadway is still closed to through traffic due to the investigation.
