Summary:

On March 20, 2018 at about 9:41pm, a Juneau woman reported she had been followed by a man while walking to her parked vehicle at a business in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive. The woman got into her vehicle and the man then attempted to open the door of her vehicle. When she backed her vehicle up, the male approached the vehicle again. The woman was placed in fear, but was ultimately able to leave the area.

On March 22, 2018 at about 11:38am, a male entered a store in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway and contacted a female employee who was working alone. The female was placed in fear by the male?s unwelcome verbal advances and physical actions to isolate her inside the store.

Officers responded to the area of 9300 Glacier Highway and contacted 19 year old Eric Aguiar about a block away. Aguiar matched the description of the suspect of the Riverside Drive and Glacier Highway incidents. Aguair was arrested for two counts of Assault. He was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and lodged on $3,000 bail.
