On March 20, 2018 at about 5:41pm a citizen called the Juneau Police Department and reported a female had been assaulted with a knife. The incident occurred on the sidewalk in front of a business on South Franklin Street.
Juneau Police Department officers and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the area. A 35 year old female was contacted and transported to BRH due to a laceration on her leg.
Fourteen minutes after the call was received, 38 year old Juneau resident Robert James Paul was contacted by officers near Second Street. Paul was arrested for Assault in the 2nd Degree. He was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
