During the month of February, the Juneau Police Department received multiple reports of burglaries at businesses and residences. During those burglaries, a large number of guns and a large amount of gold were stolen.
If you have purchased a firearm or gold nuggets in the past month from someone you don?t know, or you suspect that the item you bought may be stolen, please call the Juneau Police Department and provide a description.
If you know of someone selling firearms and/or gold nuggets and you believe those items are stolen, please call the Juneau Police Department.
Anyone with information is encouraged to log on to the Juneau Crime Line Web site to report their tip. You may also call Juneau Crime Line at 907-523-7700 or JPD at 907-586-0600. You may be eligible for a reward.
