On January 4th, 2018 at 6:50PM, the Juneau Police Department received a call from a 44 year old Juneau resident, saying 39 year old Lucas Schneider was refusing to leave his residence and had also hit him on his side.
Shortly afterwards, a female called the Juneau Police Department to report that the 44 year old male, who originally called, had been stabbed by Schneider.
Officers from the Juneau Police Department and Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to the residence, located in the 300 block of Fourth Street, in downtown Juneau. Schneider had left the residence prior to police arrival and was not immediately located.
The 44 year old male had sustained multiple stab wounds, but none of them were considered life threatening. The 44 year old male was transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for medical treatment. Following treatment, the 44 year old male was released from the Hospital.
On January 5th, 2018 at 1:23AM, the Juneau Police Department located Schneider in the downtown area. Schneider was placed under arrest for assault in the second degree, a class B felony and assault in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor. Schneider was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.
