On 09/07/2017, at approximately 5:36 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an unresponsive male lying in the ditch near Radcliffe Road and Eagle Street. JPD officers and medical personnel from the Capital City Fire Rescue responded and determined that the male was deceased.
The male was identified as 44 year old Juneau resident Robert Harold Houtary. Next of kin has been notified.
There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play to Houtary?s body. Houtary was not dressed for the weather and had a history of medical problems. Houtary will be sent to the State Medical Examiner?s office in Anchorage for an autopsy.
The investigation is continuing.
