On June 12th, 2017 at 10:01pm, the Juneau Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a male employee at the Liquor Barrel store in Lemon Creek reporting a robbery. The employee stated that a man came into the store, threatened the clerk with pepper spray, took money and then left the area on foot. The employee was not injured.
Officers arrived on scene and began an investigation and search for the suspect.
The suspect is described as being a white male about 6?-2? tall, thin build with reddish-brown eyebrows. He was wearing a camouflage scarf or bandana over his face, gray hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes with white highlights. The cash was placed into a black mesh bag before being taken from the store. The cash has not been recovered and the suspect has not been located.
