INFORMATION RELEASE

Subject: Robbery
Date: 2017-04-18
From: Lt. Kris Sell
Case or Incident: #170411-003
Summary:

On April 10, at about 11:45 p.m., a 26 year old Juneau man attempting to deliver a pizza was robbed by a man who threatened him with a screwdriver. Now, the owner of the pizza business and Juneau Crime Line are offering up to $1,000 as a reward for information leading to the arrest of the robber.

The incident started with a phone call from a female. The pizza was ordered to be delivered to a non-existent address on Renninger Drive. When the pizza delivery man arrived he could not find the address. A man approached him and provided an accurate address nearby. The delivery man went to that address and no one answered the door. As the delivery man was leaving, a man in a black ski mask grabbed him, threatened him with a screwdriver, and demanded the bank bag the driver carried.

The man who did the robbery fled on foot. Officers searched that night and the next day during the daylight but have not located the mask, screwdriver, or bank bag.
