On 11/09/2016, at about 0030 hours, the Juneau Police Department received a 911 call of an unknown male in a residence in the area of Distin Avenue. The male was confronted by the home owner and the suspect fled.
The investigation showed the unidentified male broke an exterior window to gain access to the residence. The home owners were sleeping and woke up to the sounds of someone in the house. As the male was going through rooms in the house he was confronted by the home owner. The suspect dropped many items he was attempting to steal and fled.
The suspect was described as a male of Asian or Native descent and approximately 20-25 years old.
The investigation is ongoing.
