On September 24, 2016, at about 8:02 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of ?shots fired? in the 13000 block of Glacier Hwy. Officers from the Juneau Police Department along with an Alaska State Trooper responded to the area.
A search of the area located a residence that had been shot through a front window from the outside of the residence. Two occupants of the residence were located inside the home at the time of the shooting and stated they did not hear the shot being fired. No one at the residence or in the surrounding area was injured.
The shooting does not appear to be a random act.
The investigation is ongoing.
