On 09/08/2016, at approximately 12:30 PM, Ryan was located on the John Muir Trail by hikers. The hikers recognized Ryan and brought him to a JPD Community Services Officer stationed at the Auke Lake parking lot.
Ryan was wet and cold, but otherwise fine. Ryan was reunited with family.
A special thanks to everyone who helped in the search for Ryan.

The Juneau Police Department is asking for help in locating 22 year old Juneau resident Ryan C. Harvey. If you see Harvey, or have any information about his location, please call JPD immediately at 586-0600.
Harvey is described as a white male adult, 22 years old, with brown hair, blue eyes, 5?5? tall, and a slim build weighing approximately 100 pounds. A family member reports that Harvey has autism and may not communicate with people.
Harvey was last seen leaving the UAS Egan Library on Wednesday, September 7th at approximately 2:10 PM. Harvey was seen walking alone from the library toward the area of Back Loop Road. Harvey was wearing black athletic pants and a white colored running shirt with a logo on the breast. Harvey?s coat and cell phone were left unattended at the library.
Juneau Police, Alaska State Troopers, the Seadogs, Juneau Citizens on Patrol, staff from UAS, and citizen volunteers are currently actively searching the area for Harvey.
