On July 25th, 2016 staff of Glacier Gardens reported a burglary had occurred sometime during the night. Several buildings located on the Glacier Highway property had been accessed and multiple items were missing and out of order.
Miscellaneous coins valued at $60, gold flakes valued at $120, candy bars valued at $30 and a trash can were stolen.
A greenhouse sustained a small amount of damage in an apparent attempt to gain entry into the structure and various tools were moved and relocated around the property.
On August 11th, 2016 JPD officers arrested 25 year old Christopher Whitehead on one count of Burglary 2nd Degree and one count of Theft 3rd Degree related to the incident reported on July 25th. Whitehead was transported to LCCC where he was held without bail.
