On 08/01/2016, at approximately 9:21 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a report that Tracy?s Crab Shack located on S Franklin Street had been burglarized sometime during the night. The investigation revealed that access had been gained to the business through a door that had been forced open. Damage had been caused to the door, a window, and a security camera. Damage was estimated at approximately $1,155. Stolen from the business was approximately $50 in alcohol and $35 in change.
Security footage from the business was retrieved and it was determined that the burglary occurred just before 11:00 PM on 07/31/2016. Staff from the store and the police officer recognized the burglary suspect as 44 year old Juneau resident Michael Gallo.
On 08/01/2016, at approximately 10:37 AM, JPD officers located Gallo under the docks in the area of business. Gallo was arrested for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Theft in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree. Gallo was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on No Bail.
