On 05-21-2016 at 9:17 PM, Juneau Police received a report of a motor-vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Mendenhall Loop Road and Keegan Street. One of the involved vehicles was reported to be a motorcycle. The investigation revealed a 1992 Subaru had turned left onto Loop Road from Keegan Street. The Subaru crossed in front of a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Although there was no actual collision between the two vehicles, the driver of the Harley Davidson lost control of the motorcycle and laid it onto its side. The motorcycle operator, a 48 year-old man, was transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of apparent minor injuries. The driver of the Subaru, 36 year-old Ryan B. Wiley, was cited for Failing to Yield.
There was about $1,000 damage to the motorcycle. Alcohol was not involved in this incident.
