INFORMATION RELEASE

On May 3, 2016, at about 1045 hours, multiple Juneau Police Department officers and JPD?s K-9, Buddy, served a search warrant at a home in the 2200 block of Raven Road in Douglas. During the warrant service, officers contacted two people with arrest warrants inside the residence. 32 year old Brandon Ross Stephens of Juneau was arrested on five warrants ranging from failure to appear to driving without a license. The bail on all the warrants added up to $1700 dollars bail. 28 year old Chrystal Rose Phillips of Juneau was arrested on a single parole warrant stemming from a charge of promoting contraband. That warrant did not allow for bail.

Officers then searched the residence for property believed to have been taken the prior afternoon from a residence in the 3900 block of North Douglas Highway. Officers served the search warrant and collected multiple items, including two firearms. Officers then arrested 30 year old Anthony Benjamin Kalk for Burglary in the 1st degree, a class B felony, and two counts of theft in the 2nd degree, a class C felony.

Additional charges are possible for one or more of the people contacted at the residence.
