On 032416 at 9:34am, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a rollover accident Egan Drive at Mendenhall Loop Road.
Officers responded and found two vehicles were involved. A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling West on Egan Drive at Loop just prior to the collision. And a 2008 Ford Edge that was traveling North on Loop just prior to the collision.
CCFR responded and transported both drivers to Bartlett Regional Hospital for minor injuries. There were no other passengers in either vehicle.
Traffic headed West on Egan had to be diverted on to Loop Road temporarily in order for the scene to be safely investigated, and the drivers to be seen by CCFR.
The issuance of citations is pending the outcome of the investigation.
