***** UPDATE *****
On February 26th, 2016, Jose Delgado was contacted inside a residence on Salmon Creek Lane. At about 3:57pm, Delgado was arrested on a $20,000 warrant charging Misconduct Involving Weapons in the First Degree, Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 3rd Degree and three counts of Assault in the 3rd Degree.

***** UPDATE *****

On 02/25/2016, at approximately 9:00 AM, JPD detectives located Sky Stubblefield inside a residence located in the 3900 block of the North Douglas Highway. Detectives went to the residence based on a tip received from the public.

Stubblefield was arrested without incident. Stubblefield was taken to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries she received when she fled on the morning of 02/24/2016.

Stubblefield was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Stubblefield was charged with Aiding and Abetting Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 1st Degree a Class B Felony, Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer in the 1st Degree a Class C Felony, Contempt of Court for failing to report to jail on a previous case, and a bench warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation. Stubblefield was held on No Bail.

The investigation is continuing.

On 02/24/2016, at approximately 12:59 AM, a Juneau Police officer was on foot in the area of the 4th Street when he was passed by a grey colored car. One occupant of the car fired a single gunshot from the moving vehicle. No one was hurt by the gunshot. The vehicle then drove the wrong direction up Seward Street. Another JPD officer was in the area and located the same grey car in the area of 5th Street and Main Street. The vehicle was empty.

The investigation revealed that a group of people were in front of a residence located in the 400 block of Harris Street. Two people were arguing over property. One of the arguing men left, got into the grey vehicle with another person, and then fired one gunshot at the residence as they drove off. The bullet traveled through the front window of the house, through a lamp, and lodged in the wall.

The Juneau Police Department is looking for assistance in located two ?People of Interest? in connection to this shooting.

First, Jose Antonio Delgado is a 47 year old Juneau resident. Delgado is a Hispanic male, 5? 10? tall, weighs approximately 200 pounds, has a shaved head, and brown eyes.

Second, Sky Linn Stubblefield is a 25 year old Juneau resident. Stubblefield is a white female, 5? 5? tall, weighs approximately 130 pounds, has light brown hair, and hazel eyes.

People who know the whereabouts of either Delgado or Stubblefield, or see them in public, are encouraged to contact the Juneau Police Department immediately at (907) 586-0600. A firearm was recovered, but it is unknown if it is weapon used during the drive by shooting. People should consider Delgado and Stubblefield as possibly armed and should not try to contact them directly.

The investigation is ongoing.
