On February 1st, 2016 at about 10:20 PM, the Juneau Police Department (JPD) received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Kanata Deyi. The caller stated that one male was bleeding badly.
Responding JPD Officers contacted a 30 year old male with two puncture wounds to his upper body. The male was evaluated by Capital City Fire and Rescue (CCFR) and transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH) for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation revealed that the male was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend, 30 year old Betsy Davey, when he was stabbed twice with a knife. Davey was arrested for Assault 2nd Degree (DV) and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center (LCCC) without bail.
