On 01/08/2016, at approximately 3:21 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary and assault located at a residence in the 9200 block of James Boulevard. In essence, a 29 year old female Juneau resident said that she was in her kitchen when two men entered her residence through an unlocked sliding glass door. The men punched and kicked the victim, ransacked her kitchen, and stole a ring valued at approximately $120 and approximately $5 in coins. The men then fled out the same sliding glass door.
The men were both described as being approximately 5?6? tall, skinny build, with tan complexions, and wearing predominately black clothing. One male had dark hair. JPD officers searched the area and the suspects were not located.
The female victim had minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
