At 11:25am today, 19 year old Kevin Scott Nauska was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing that occurred at around 3:49 this morning. Nauska has been charged with Murder in the 1st Degree, Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree, Assault in the 1st Degree, two counts of Assault in the 3rd degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and will be held without bail.
The victims of the stabbing have been identified and next of kin was notified. 37 year old Jordon J. Sharclane was pronounced dead at the scene. The surviving victim, 19 year old Michael Sharclane was transported to BRH with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

On December 3, 2015 at about 3:49 am, the Juneau Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting a stabbing in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue.
JPD Officer and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the area and contacted multiple people. The investigation revealed that a dispute over property resulted in a fight and a knife was involved. A 37 year old male was found deceased at the scene and a 19 year old male was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital with injuries.
The other party in the dispute in is police custody and JPD is not looking for any outstanding suspects. JPD is looking for additional witnesses and anyone with information is encouraged to call.
The investigation is continuing.
