An autopsy on Mayor Stephen ?Greg? Fisk was performed by a state medical examiner in Anchorage today. JPD officers were in attendance. The preliminary autopsy report indicates the cause of Mayor Fisk?s death was natural causes.
According to the findings, the external injuries sustained by Mayor Fisk were consistent with an injury due to falling or stumbling into objects. No foul play is indicated.
The final autopsy report to include toxicology results is not expected to be complete for 2-8 weeks.
