On 02/16/2018, 40 year old Laron Graham was indicted by a grand jury for two counts of murder 1st degree, for the deaths of 36 year old Robert Meireis and 34 year old Elizabeth Tonsmeire.
Graham is currently incarcerated at the Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward Alaska, on an unrelated crime.
Any further questions regarding this case should be sent to the District Attorney's office in Juneau.

The two victims located in the residence have been identified as 34 year old female Juneau resident Elizabeth K. Tonsmeire, and 36 year old male Juneau resident Robert H. Meireis. The investigation revealed that both Tonsmeire and Meireis were shot and the case is being investigated as a double murder. Next of kin for both Tonsmeire and Meireis have been notified.
No suspect, or suspects, have been identified. Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the Juneau Police Department immediately.
The investigation is continuing.

On 11/15/2015, at approximately 12:21 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a 911 call from a residence located in the 2700 block of Roger Street. In essence, the male caller reported finding two dead people inside the residence.
JPD officers and Capital City Fire Rescue personnel responded to the residence. Two people, a male and a female, were pronounced deceased by ambulance personnel.
JPD detectives responded to the residence and are conducting an investigation. No further details are currently available, but this press release will be updated when appropriate.
The investigation is continuing.
