INFORMATION RELEASE

On August 26th, 2015, at about 4:00 in the afternoon, an off-duty Juneau Police Department officer spotted 30 year old Gregory Dewayne Crowley, a person with four current warrants for his arrest. Crowley was at a trailhead near Valley Boulevard. On-duty officers responded but were unable to locate Crowley, who had fled along the trail. All of Crowley?s warrants were issued in mid-2014 and he has avoided arrest since then. JPD would like to ask for the public?s assistance in locating Crowley.

Two of Crowley?s warrants are for misconduct involving drugs. JPD officers have found that people involved with drugs often carry weapons though there is no specific information about Crowley having weapons. The public is urged to use caution and not approach Crowley. The other two warrants are associated with failure to appear in court. One warrant stems from a theft charge and the other warrant stems from charges of criminal trespass and making a false report.
