Summary:

On 07/31/2015, at approximately 12:15 PM, the Juneau Police Department was notified of a theft at the Capital Building located on Fourth Street. In essence, Legislative Security reported that three men entered the construction zone at the capital at approximately 12:44 AM, and stole the American and Alaskan flags. The images of the three men were captured on surveillance cameras. The total theft of the two flags and rope was estimated at approximately $434.

On 08/04/2015, at approximately 12:06 PM, two men matching the description captured on the surveillance cameras came to JPD and spoke with an investigator. The investigation is continuing.
