From: Lt. Kris Sell
Case or Incident: #150630-500
On June 30, 2015, a woman reported that she had discovered a state issued credit card had been taken from her desk in the State Office Building. The woman learned the card was missing after she was asked about a $500 withdrawal from a Juneau Wells Fargo ATM. The woman had been storing the card in her desk with a note that provided the access code.
The investigation confirmed the card was used to withdraw $500 cash on June 19, 2015. There were also two unsuccessful attempts to make withdrawals with the card later that day at two different banks.
An officer of the Juneau Police Department served a search warrant on Wells Fargo and acquired pictures from the ATM camera. JPD has not yet been able to identify the man so is now asking for the public?s assistance. Pictures of the person of interest are posted on JPD's Facebook page.
