On July 14th at about 06:35 am, JPD received a call requesting an ambulance for a person who was reported to be under the Gold Creek Bridge and not breathing. CCFR and JPD officers responded and determined that the female was deceased.
The female was identified as 51 year old Kake resident, Macaria Wallace. Foul play is not suspected. The investigation is ongoing.
