On 04/21/2015, at approximately 7:44 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a disturbance located in the 2800 block of Postal Way. The caller reported hearing a male and female arguing, followed by the male saying he had been stabbed in the hand. A second caller reported the male was outside and was bleeding from his hand.
JPD officers arrived and contacted a 51 year old male victim sitting on the curb outside of the apartment building. The male victim has a cut to his hand and was transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
Officers contacted 53 year old Letha Cesar inside an apartment. Cesar was not injured. Cesar was arrested for Assault in the 2nd Degree Domestic Violence. Cesar was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on No Bail.
Alcohol was a factor in this incident.
The investigation is continuing.
