INFORMATION RELEASE
Date: 2015-03-20
From: Lt. Kris Sell
Case or Incident: #150312-007
On the night of March 11th, 2015, a vehicle driver crashed into and destroyed a familiar landmark in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The hit and run driver destroyed the sign for Kodzoff Acres II. Given the size of the debris field it appears the vehicle struck the sign with great force. The suspect vehicle would have to have been damaged and certainly has a damaged or missing side rearview mirror.
The sign will cost about $2,000 to replace. Pictures of the damage are posted on the JPD Facebook Page.
