On March 4th, 2015, Charles Carroll was contacted by JPD officers at a business located on Airport Blvd. Carroll was placed under arrest for Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree. Carroll was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on no bail.
JPD would like to thank the numerous citizens who called JPD will possible leads that ultimately led to Carroll's arrest.

The Juneau Police Department is asking for the public?s assistance in locating 26 year old Charles Smith Carroll of Juneau. He is a person of interest in a string of burglaries that recently impacted Juneau businesses. One person, Berton A. Tullis, has already been charged in two of the burglaries and more charges are anticipated. Carroll is an associate of Tullis.
Carroll has been known to frequent the Cinema Drive area but is believed to be homeless. JPD has received information that he has shaved his facial hair. Carroll is a native male who stands six feet tall and weighs about 230 pounds.
