Summary:
On February 24, 2015 at about 8:00 in the evening a Juneau Police Department detective arrested 33 year old Berton A. Tullis of Juneau for two of the recent commercial burglaries that were part of a recent string of burglaries and attempted burglaries. Tullis is currently being charged with burglarizing Capital Brew, a coffee drive-through, on February 16, 2015. Tullis is also charged with burglarizing Rejuvenations Salon and Spa on February 22, 2015. Investigators are still looking into the possibility of Tullis being involved in other burglaries.
Tullis has been lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on two counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony. A Class C Felony is punishable by up to five years in jail and a fine of up to $50,000.
