INFORMATION RELEASE

JPD received a call on 911 that someone had been stabbed in the area of Montgomery Street. The caller then hung up the phone.
Officers arrived in the area and located a male lying on the ground with a stab wound. The male was identified as a 36 year old Juneau resident.
CCFR and EMS arrived and transported the male to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for a medical evaluation.
Witnesses were identified at the scene. All the witnesses were very intoxicated and uncooperative.
At the hospital, the male victim refused to speak with police about the incident.
The victim's injuries appear to be non life threatening.
