On 03/26/2014, at approximately 4:37 PM, the Juneau Police Department was notified of a two vehicle collision on Yandukin Drive near Old Dairy Road. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 1999 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Yandukin Road. The Honda attempted to turn left onto Old Dairy Road and failed to stop for an oncoming semi-truck.
The Honda was driven by an 18 year old male and had two passengers. The passengers were identified as a 20 year old male who was transported to BRH with critical injuries, and 18 year old Jessica Louise Billy who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The semi-truck was driven by a 45 year old male who sustained no injuries.
Next of kin has been notified.
