On March 25th, 2014 at about 11:21am, a 27 year old female called JPD to report property had been stolen from her apartment in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway.
The night before she had found a man laying in the snow near her residence. He was cold and didn?t have anywhere to go. She invited him in to her home.
The next day she discovered that the man was gone and so were her cell phone, $150 in cash and a bus pass valued at $40.
The man left behind a backpack containing drug paraphernalia. Also in the backpack was paperwork belonging to a 23 year old Juneau man.
The responding officer believes the suspect has been positively identified and the investigation continues.
