On 01/10/2014, the Juneau Police Department asked the public for assistance in locating 39 year old Derek McMillian. McMillian had run away from the Gastineau Human Services Halfway House on 01/03/2014. There was a no bail warrant in effect for McMillian.
On 01/16/2014, at approximately 3:58 AM, a Juneau Police officer stopped a vehicle on Yandukin Drive for exceeding the posted speed limit. McMillian was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. McMillian was arrested on a No Bail warrant.
The driver was identified as 20 year old Juneau resident Regal Robert Hudson. Hudson was arrested for Driving with a Revoked Driver?s License.
Both McMillian and Hudson were transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
The request for assistance in locating McMillian is cancelled.
