On January 4th 2013 at 4:12 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a man at a residence on Third Street in Juneau reporting that his wife was in active labor.
The 9-1-1 dispatcher provided instructions to the father-to-be and a baby girl was delivered at approximately 4:14 PM.
Capital City Fire/Rescue arrived on scene within minutes of the baby being delivered and found that the mother and baby were doing well and in good health. They were not transported to the hospital.
