On 12-14-2013 at 4:00 PM, Juneau Police contacted a man in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The man was located exiting the rear window of a residence in that area. He was identified as 32 year-old Steven Duane Thomas. Thomas was wanted in connection with a shooting which occurred in the area of Coho Apartments on December 6th, 2013.
Thomas was arrested on the outstanding arrest warrant charging him with several counts of Misconduct Involving a Weapon. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on $50,000 bail.
