On 11/05/2013, at approximately 7:20 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a 911 hang up call from a residence in the 4300 block of Windfall Avenue. Officers responded to the residence and discovered that a domestic assault had occurred between 31 year old Juneau resident Bob S. Huber, and a 43 year old female Juneau resident. The investigation revealed that Huber had struck the female victim in the face. Huber was ultimately arrest for Assault in the 4th Degree Domestic Violence. See case 131105-010.
As Huber was being arrested he told the officers that there was a marijuana grow in one of the back bedrooms. Huber was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on no bail.
Officers returned to the residence on Windfall Avenue and spoke to the home owner, a 60 year old female Juneau resident. The home owner allowed officers to enter the residence. In a back bedroom officers discovered a 55 plant marijuana grow.
Members of the Juneau Metro Drug unit responded to the residence. The 55 marijuana plants, grow equipment, 7 long guns, and 3 hand guns were seized as evidence.
The investigation is continuing.
