On October 23, 2013 at approximately 10:13 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a man at the Best Western hotel reporting that his wife was in active labor.
The 9-1-1 dispatcher provided pre arrival instructions to the caller and a baby boy was delivered at approximately 10:18 AM.
Capital City Fire Rescue arrived on scene as the baby was being delivered and found the mother and baby were doing well and in good health. They were not transported to the hospital.
Congratulations to the parents on the newest addition to their family!
