On October 2nd 2013, at 07:59am, the Juneau Police Department received a report that multiple vehicles parked in the Aurora Harbor parking lot had been vandalized.
Officers responded and found that 12 separate motor vehicles had sustained damage to their tires. A bicycle parked at the ramp also sustained damage to two tires. At least one vehicle had been parked overnight.
The damage is believed to have been caused by a 3? silver knife blade that was recovered from the scene. The estimated cost of the damage to all 20 tires is $4,000.
The incident is still under active investigation and officers are following up on leads.
