From: Lt David Campbell
Case or Incident: #2013-034565
Summary:

On 09/09/2013, at approximately 11:37 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a 911 call from the Alaskan Hotel. In essence, a 50 year old female Juneau resident was reported as having difficulty breathing. The call was later upgraded that the female?s husband was performing CPR.

JPD Officer James Dooley was the first to arrive. Officer Dooley took immediate control of the situation by moving the female from a bed to the floor and then took over performing CPR. Capital City Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and began treating the female. The female was transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital, and ultimately medivaced to Harborview Medical Center in Washington. CCFR medics said Officer Dooley?s swift actions played a large part in stabilizing the female so she could be transported to BRH for further care.
