Summary:

On August 6, 2013 at about 1:28am, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a blue truck driving erratically in the area of 7 Mile Egan Drive. Officers located the vehicle on Glacier Highway near Jordan Avenue and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and continued to drive onto Jordan Avenue striking a guard rail on the Trout Street Bridge before coming to a stop. The driver was identified as 40 year old Anchorage resident Bernard JORDAN. JORDAN was arrested and lodged without bail at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on charges of DWI, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, Driving with a Revoked License, Fail to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer 1st Degree, and three counts of Reckless Endangerment.

An intoxicated passenger in the vehicle, 40 year old Anchorage resident Willie POINTER, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he refused to exit the vehicle when officers impounded it. POINTER was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on $500 bail.
