On 06/21/2013, at approximately 7:43 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a commercial burglary to a business located in the 5600 block of Montana Creek Road. Three hand guns were stolen from the business.
On 06/22/2013, at approximately 3:04 AM, one of the business owners reported that his house was being burglarized. The residence is located in the 3000 block of Fritz Cove Road. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the residence. The victim reported getting into a scuffle with the suspect, who was identified as 24 year old Juneau resident Jack Coogan. Coogan fled the area before police arrived at the residence.
On 06/22/2013, at approximately 7:47 AM, the victim of the commercial and residential burglary reported the fraudulent use of his credit card.
On 06/26/2013, JPD investigators located Jack Coogan in a trailer in Switzer Village. Coogan was arrested for Burglary in the 1st Degree Domestic Violence and Theft in the 3rd Degree. Coogan was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on No Bail.
The investigation into all three reports is continuing.
