On 6-19-13 at about 8pm, The Juneau Police Department received a report that a 1998 Ford Explorer had been stolen from the area of Dimond Park. At about 9:08pm an officer saw a vehicle matching the description of the stolen vehicle in the Lemon Creek Area. The officer was unable to immediately determine if the vehicle was the stolen vehicle and lost sight of it.
Minutes later, the vehicle was located parked on Jenkins Drive and three people were seen running from the area. The vehicle was examined for evidence then returned to it?s owner. Anyone with information regarding the theft is encouraged to contact Juneau Police.
