On 03/22/2013, about 0244 hours, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a Taxi Driver being assaulted in the 6500 block of the Glacier Highway access road.
The taxi driver told responding officers he was giving a ride to a local male and local female fare. As they came to a stop on the Glacier Highway access road, the male rider hit the taxi driver several times in the face and demanded all of his money. The driver was able to summon help via his radio.
The male rider was identified as 21 year old local resident Jordan Oldham.
Subsequently, Oldham was arrested and charged with Robbery in the second degree a class ?B? felony and Assault in the fourth degree a class ?A? misdemeanor. Oldham was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.
