On March 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM, the Juneau Police Department received numerous reports of a motor vehicle crash at the Egan Drive and Loop Road intersection. The investigation revealed a 1999 Dodge truck, driven by 65 year-old Timothy Corrigan, was traveling inbound on Egan Drive and failed to stop at a red light. The Dodge struck a 2004 Chevrolet Tracker driven by a 36 year-old female.
The Chevrolet was totaled; there was about $5,000 damage to the truck. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Corrigan was cited for Failing to Stop at a Red Light.
