The man is described as a white man of unknown age, somewhere between 5'8\" and 5'11\" in height, medium build, long black hair pulled back in a ponytail, wearing a tophat and sun glasses. He has a star tatoo on his neck. If he were wearing a regular t-shirt you could see 1/2 of the tatoo.
He was driving a white van that had front windowns with no other visable windows on it.

This morning at approximately 9:00am the Juneau Police Department received a report that two Gastineau School students had been approached by an unknown man who tried to convince them that their parents had sent him to pick them up at their bus stop. The incident occurred along the Douglas Highway by David Street.
Officers are actively investigating this incident.
Please take a moment to talk to your child about the danger of talking to strangers and remind them not to get into vehicles with someone they do not know.
