On 11/10/2012, at approximately 2:45 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a report that money from a lockbox at the Silverbow Inn had been stolen. The theft occurred on the evening of 11/09/12 and the value of the missing money was estimated at approximately $1,200.
The investigation revealed that 37 year old Juneau resident Joshua River RILEY had been seen on surveillance video in the area of the lockbox. RILEY was a former employee of the Silverbow Inn and had no reason to be in the area of the lockbox.
On 11/14/2012, at approximately 4:00 PM, RILEY was found at a residence located in the 400 block of 4th Street in Juneau. RILEY was placed under arrest for Theft in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony. RILEY was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on No Bail.
The investigation continues.
