On Saturday, October 20th, 2012, at about 7:00 p.m. staff at Bartlett Regional Hospital called the Juneau Police Department reporting that two men with stab wounds were being treated at the hospital. Officers contacted a 45 year old Juneau man who claimed he was awakened by being stabbed in the arm by his friend, who accused him of theft. The 45 year old man said he grabbed the knife and in the struggle the 49 year old Juneau man who attacked him received cuts to the face. The incident took place in the 300 block of Fourth Street in downtown Juneau. The investigation is continuing. Alcohol was involved.
